Biography:

Ashti’s parents had joined the new Sith Order while it was rebuilding in 4500 BBY. His father was a bounty hunter for the Sith, teaching many students the ways of stealth, assignation, close combat man-oeuvres and terrain familiarity. With time Ashti was old enough to participate in these teachings. His ability to learn was quite astonishing, even to the Sith masters. For Ashti had learned the ways of hunting for “soup”, as was necessary in Anzati culture. Learning this ability allowed him to come into contact with the force. The Anzati were force sensitive, they held the ability of creating a force trance on their victims before feeding. Even though this was the case many Anzaties did not become Jedi, for their nature was uncontrollable.

However, Ashti was gifted, and the Sith accepted to train him as one of their own. Ashti’s father was most pleased when he had heard the news of this. His family was dedicated to the Sith, teaching Ashti many of their belief as he grew up. Although as the years went by Ashti had begun to change, through meditation in the force it had removed his sense of anger, fear, and obsessions. It so happened that during a training exercise Ashti had unintentionally entered into a world of bliss for a slit second. He knew that he was among a higher power in the force. It was revealed to him the true nature of the Sith, all of their lies, and corrupt teachings. A whole of had been created by the light, piercing the darkness within him. He was not aware that his life was in the hands of an unknown being. Ashti was 120 years old and did not believe in the revelation he had witnessed until one night he dreamed of a man who told him to run away to the Dagobah system.

Years of meditation in the dream and the revelation had opened Ashti’s mind. He was no longer a narrow minded Sith Anzati, and could see everything the revelation had revealed. Ashti had now lost complete faith in the Sith and secretly escaped from Koribban. Rumour has it that his family was murdered by a Sith named Naga Sadow for crimes of apostasy, which were convicted by Ashti.

Reaching the planet of Dagobah, Ashti had come into contact with the man he’d seen in his dream. His true name was never revealed to Ashti, only the name “Master” was allowed. Ashti’s training had lasted 50 years on Degobah. Mastering the ways of the force, and the ability to balance his powers of the dark and light, which allowed Ashti was to control his need for “Soup”. The Force was indeed a part of Ashti’s everyday life.

His adventures after his training had led him into the hands of the Jedi. He had fought along side them in many skirmishes, where he had injured a Sith lord who was believed to be Naga Sadow. Unfortunately he escaped. By the age of 300 Ashti had made his acquaintance with a man named Zym. They seemed to work together just fine although when it came down to how the Jedi Order should be run it was a different matter. Ashti could see the many flaws of the Republic; his ideals were of neutral standings. In recent years Ashti was recognized as a strong and valuable Jedi, so he was sent to the planet of Palawa to become the new Grand Master of the ancient Followers of Palawa. Hard times had quickly come upon Palawa making the first few years of Ashti’s leadership a tough road.
